Sleep Cycle now integrates seamlessly with iOS 18 and WatchOS 11.
Update your iPhone to iOS 18 and download or update the Sleep Cycle app to enjoy faster access, better Apple Watch integration, and personalized features.
Below features are available on all iPhones running iOS 18, except the action button (exclusive to iPhone 15 Pro+).

- Control Center widget:
Add Sleep Cycle to your iPhone's Control Center to start a sleep session instantly with just a swipe.
How to add Sleep Cycle to Control Center:
- Go to Settings > Control Center.
- Tap the Add button next to the Sleep Cycle app to add it.
Swipe down from the top-right of your screen to access the Control Center. Then tap the Sleep Cycle widget.
- Lock Screen shortcuts:
Gain access to instant sleep tracking by replacing an existing shortcut with Sleep Cycle.
How to add Sleep Cycle to your Lock Screen:
- Press and hold your Lock Screen > tap “Customize,”
- Select Sleep Cycle to replace one of the two shortcuts for easy access.
- Siri Integration:
Use the voice command, “Hey Siri, start Sleep Cycle” to initiate sleep tracking instantly.
How it works:
- Activate Siri by saying “Hey Siri” or by holding the side or home button, then give the command to start your session, “Start Sleep Cycle”
- iPhone Action Button (iPhone 15 Pro+):
Start and stop sleep tracking with Sleep Cycle without unlocking your phone by pressing and holding the side Action button (iPhone 15 Pro+).
- App icon customization:
Personalize your Sleep Cycle app icon with new tint options for a unique look to match your style.
How to tint your Sleep Cycle icon in iOS 18:
- Press and hold a space on your Home Screen.
- Tap Edit in the top-right corner.
- Tap Customize.
- Select the Tinted option.
- Adjust the sliders to change the tint.
- Tap anywhere outside of the Customize panel to finish.
- Personalized Live Activities:
Display your phone’s Sleep Cycle notifications and updates directly on your Apple Watch for real-time tracking.
How to enable Sleep Cycle live activities on your Apple Watch:
- In iPhone settings app > go to Sleep Cycle app
- Enable live activities (toggle switch on)
- Bedtime Reminders:
Receive bedtime reminders as live activities on your Apple Watch to stay on track with your sleep routine.
How to enable bedtime reminders on Apple Watch:
- Make sure your phone and watch are connected
- Open the Sleep Cycle app > Profile > Sleep Goal
- Tap the “edit” icon > select “On” and set your bedtime and waketime
- Select “Done”. Your Apple Watch will gently remind you when bedtime approaches.
- WatchOS Double Tap Integration:
Easily snooze or turn off your Sleep Cycle Smart Alarm with a simple double-tap on your Apple Watch screen.
