Apple or Google manage refunds, and your purchases are tied to your Apple or Google ID. Note that the refund procedures and policies from Apple and Google apply.
Users who sign up through our website must first cancel the subscription to request a refund. To cancel your subscription, see this page.
On our website
- First, cancel the subscription.
- If your purchase was made using FastSpring send us an email at support@sleepcycle.com with a copy of the receipt where we can see the SC number and the email you used to purchase the subscription.

If your purchase was made using Paddle go to your receipt email > scroll down to To cancel your subscription, please click here > click on the blue 'here' > in the Paddle portal click payments > send us the Transaction ID from the purchase you want refunded.
- You can see if FastSpring or Paddle was used in the email with your receipt.

On iOS
- When you purchase an app, you get a receipt from Apple.
- If you don't have access to your receipt, follow the steps on Apple's webpage: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084
- This receipt contains a link that says “Report A Problem.”
- Click on the link on this receipt. It takes you to Apple’s portal for refunds.
- To claim a refund for your subscription, click on Subscriptions.
- You can report your issue, describe the details, and request a refund from here.
Please note that Sleep Cycle has no control over Apple’s refund process and cannot influence or affect the outcome of their decision. Apple does not allow third-party companies to handle refunds on their behalf.
Unfortunately, if Apple declines your refund request, we cannot override their decision. If you have any questions regarding their policies, we recommend reaching out directly to Apple Support.
On Android
If it’s been less than 48 hours since you bought an app or made an in-app purchase, you can request a refund through Google Play.
- Go to https://play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory.
- Click ‘Order History’.
- Find the order you want to return.
- On the order, click ‘More’.
- Select ‘Request a refund’ or ‘Report a problem’ and choose the option that describes your situation.
- Complete the form and note that you would like a refund.
- You will see a message saying, "Thank you for sharing your concerns."
- You'll then receive an email with your refund decision. This usually happens within 15 minutes, but it can take up to four business days.
If Google denied your refund, contact us at support@sleepcycle.com and send us a printscreen from your receipt where we see the GPA number.
